WINDSURF EXPERIENCE TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS  (15 March- 21 March)

Tenerife is one of the most famous Canary Islands. It can be reached with a convenient direct flight from major European airports in about four hours. The camp is located in El Medano, about a 10-minute drive from Tenerife South Airport. El Medano Bay offers a safe area with a wide sandy beach where you can have fun and achieve your goals. Depending on the wind intensity and direction, the spot could be completely flat, or with chop and even some low/medium difficulty waves to introduce you to the art of wave sailing. If there’s wind in other areas of the island, no problem! Windsurf Tenerife Experience, organized by FlyWave Camps in collaboration with Wind Center Playa Surf, will take you to other windiest spots on the island, suited to your level.

What do we offer:

Windsurf camp – intermediate and expert level

Since the group is limited to 10 people, coaching can be focused on each individual’s needs.

(If you want to be accompanied by family members or friends who are still not familiar with watersports we organize private or group beginner lessons for both windsurf and wing foiling).

How do we coach?

The level required to participate in the camp is to have full confidence with windsurf navigation in medium/strong wind and small waves (max 1 mt). Your coach Fabio Calò has been passionate about windsurf for several years. Former Italian wave windsurfing champion, Fabio has actively participated in world windsurf competitions and regularly practices windsurf on Lake Garda and all around the world. His experience extends to windsurf foil and wing foil.

Accomodation and partners:

We’ll be staying in apartments located near the surf center, within walking distance, with a variety of accommodation options to suit your needs: single, double, or even three-bedroom apartments. You’ll be able to relax and enjoy the atmosphere in complete tranquility. The rooms are comfortable and within walking distance of all the town’s restaurants and bars. Our camp will be based at the Wind Center Playa Surf, located directly on the beach in El Medano Bay.

Program:

14 March: arrival + transfer to El Medano

15 March – 21 March: Windsurf camp – training sessions and daily video analysis. We will select the best 5 days out of the 7 available in order to choose the best conditions for our sessions.

21 March: packing and transfer to the airport

10:00 briefing at the beach

10:30 simulator lesson

11:00 – 13:00 first training session

13:00 – 14:00 lunch

14:00 – 16:00 second training session

18:00 – 19:00 aperitif and video analysis

20:00 dinner

Prices:

We offer all-inclusive packages customized to your needs:

1. All inclusive with shared room in apartment: 1500€

Included: Coaching 5 days, shared room in apartment for 7 days, equipment rental for 5 days, 2 x group dinners

Not included: flight (starting price from 200 €), meals, taxi from Tenerife South Airport to El Medano (price around 15€), Car rental (if needed)

2. All inclusive with private room in apartment (2 beds): 1940€
