ROAD TO DOWNWIND FOILING CAMP
5-8 June 2025: ROAD TO DOWNWIND FOIL CAMP
Unlock the Magic of Downwind Foiling!
Join us for an unforgettable experience designed for riders eager to embark on their journey into the exhilarating world of downwind foiling.
How Do We Teach Downwind Foiling?
Downwind foiling is a unique discipline that requires specific skills and techniques. Learning to pump the foil is essential to mastering the art of gliding across the water without the push of a sail. Pump foiling is a foundational skill! We’ll also cover key concepts such as bump connection, equipment selection, and using start assistance systems (wing, parawing, foil drive, paddle). Our goal is to equip you with all the skills you need to practice independently and fully embrace the excitement of downwind foiling.
Join the Journey. Ride the Bumps. Discover the Glide.
This camp is perfect for beginners ready to unlock the magic of downwind foiling.

–Mastering the Basics: Break down techniques, fundamentals of pump foiling, body positioning, and mechanics.
–Assisted Pump Foiling: Start training with extra support through Foil Drive sessions, towed training with a boat, and the use of an anchorman system for pump training without a sail.
–Connecting Bumps: Learn to read water movements, select bumps, time your transitions, and practice real-life short downwind connections.
